September 1, 200520 yr It sounds like they won't be playing in New Orleans for obvious reasons. So where does everyone think they'll end up playing. Las Vegas, St. Louis, Kansas City, somewhere near Louisiana? Edited September 1, 200520 yr by WilliamTell
September 1, 200520 yr QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Sep 1, 2005 -> 04:22 PM) Depends if it permanent or temporary. Id say St louis if it is permanent. KC
September 1, 200520 yr QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 1, 2005 -> 06:44 PM) The Saints are in the same boat. I wonder where they are going to go? AlamoDome seems to be the logical choice.. Memphis / Vanderbilt would be my second guess.

September 2, 200520 yr Well New Orleans will probably play at LSU for home games from what I've read and heard. As far as the Hornets, I think I was hearing St. Louis or KC.

September 2, 200520 yr QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Sep 1, 2005 -> 06:53 PM) LSU is talking about having no home games until possibly November. Espn was stating that they might play at LSU or in Baton Rouge. I guess I heard wrong though.
September 2, 200520 yr QUOTE(Goldmember @ Sep 1, 2005 -> 06:53 PM) they'll prolly keep them in the east so rules out vegas... The Hornets are a Western Conference team though. Vegas makes sense, especially since there's going to be an ASG there.

September 2, 200520 yr Author Yeah I was thinking Vegas because of the All-Star game this year. Vegas wants a team. And if both the Saints and the Hornets have to leave for good, I'd say the Saints will be moving to Los Angeles while the Hornets will be moving to Las Vegas, but this is all if they can't stay in New Orelans.

September 3, 200520 yr I live in Orlando and I know we put an offer on the table to the saints to play in the citrus bowl as needed, i doubt they'll take it but we did make the offer!
September 3, 200520 yr Author Oklahoma City offered the Hornets a home this year, the Hornets will be practicing at Air Force for the next few weeks. The Saints have had offers from Los Angeles (As anyone would've suspected since they've wanted a team for a while) and Las Vegas (also desperate for a team.) But they'll be playing the Giants at home in Giants Stadium. 9 home games for the Giants this year.

Las Vegas, St. Louis, Kansas City, somewhere near Louisiana? Not in San Antonio, that's for sure!!! How about Austin, TX? Seriously, KC, San Diego, OKC, Albuquerque at The Pit, or Las Vegas should be the top picks, since NO is a Western Conference team. I would love to see some NBA games at The Pit though!
