Power Rankings...

I know no one cares about these, neither do I. But the Indians are moving up as we move down...

Power Rankings

Are we really behind the Yankees? I guess after what happened against the Angels, who can blame them?

Yeah, I saw that but oh well.

Tunnel Vision is in effect right now. Playoffs or bust.

It doesn't mean s***, I just know people like to see what people think of us...and then say, f*** them. So, f*** them.

Yes, we should all fear the Yankees terrible rotation and juiced up Giambi.

It is funny does anyone think if Boston or yankees had same record as SOX they would be ranked 4th in AL................. :lolhitting

how do they have the indians above the sox. Did they miss us kicking their ass from chicago to clevland and back again.

Yeah, its the bias as always....more reasons to prove them all wrong...please :pray

Power Rankings are mostly about how you are playing at the time. Yes the Indians are a better team than us right now. They should be ahead us...

I disagree. We lead head to head. We have the better record. What if Kansas city went on a 20 game winning streak? Would they be # 1 in the rankings? Power rankings are just stupid. They are just some writers opinion.

We've lost about 10 games in our lead over the Tribe in about a month...

When was the last time we were out of the top 3? It's been a while I think. Oh well, not a biggie.

mmmmm.........juice.

I hate to say it, but right now if I made the rankings, I would take all the teams playing .550+ ball, and rank the Sox immediately behind the worst one of them. Not trying to be a bombthrower, but that is just my honest opinion at this point in time.

They were swept by the AL West-leading Angels -- at home no less. A playoff precursor? Let's fire up that message board by reminding you that we said this team is going to be one and done in the postseason.

Their messageboard or ours?

Their messageboard or ours?

Probably theirs.

It doesn't work anymore though.

power rankings and predictions don't mean anything.

Lots of folks picked the Sox to beat Seattle in 2000.

How did that turn out?

It's this simple: If our starters deal, we get a few clutch hits and the bullpen holds together, we'll be OK.

But if the starters get tagged, like they did against the Angels and during those first two games in Boston, we're in trouble.
