I Got 2 Tix To games 1,3, And 4 All Lower Deck (Section 111 Row 18 For Game 1, Section 111 Row 10 For Game 3, Section 113 Row 29 For Game 4).  This Is Kinda Nice After Being Left In The Dark For The ALDS!  :gosox3:

How the heck did you get so lucky!

My son and I were logged on on three computers and were totally shut out !

Have fun at the games!

It kind of pisses me off that us Sox Fans that go to 10-20 games a year try our tails off to get playoff tickets and can't because some yahoo that has not been to a game in 10 years decides this is a good time to finally go.

Couldn't agree with you more!

You would think they could track your ticket purchases and allot playoff tickets on some kind of point system !

But alas no one cares about loyalty from their fans.

I have partial season tickets for DePaul basketball and got squeezed out of center court tickets because they are now all season ticket holders only.

Experiencing somewhat the same thing with Chicago Fire tickets now that they are moving to a new smalller stadium.

The bottom line is NO ONE REALLY CARES ABOUT THE FANS WHO BUY TICKETS.

Its a great thing going to a playoff game.  Its exciting, energetic, and f***ing impossible to get tickets to.  Unless you pay out your ass, or have season tickets, it tough to experience the game.  I would recommend just going to a bar, watching it wiht fellow sox fans, and relishing in the money you saved rather than being down.

nah, nothing beats being at the game

Honestly I Do Think That Luck Had A Lot To Do With It, I Just Made Sure Not To Have Multiple Windows Open At The Same Time (That's Why I Wasn't Able To Make It To Any Games This Round). My Dad Was Completely Shut Out And Was Trying At The Exact Same Time So I Would Definately Say It's Luck. Thanks, I'm Sure Will Have Fun, Especially If They Keep This Up! :gosox1:

Just tried to see what was aviable, got this message for ALL four games...

"There were no tickets available that matched your request"

All I requested was a single ticket.

I cant describe how frustrated I am right now.

Sweet.

For those of you that didn't get tickets if you don't mind heading down there on game day there were a ton of people selling tickets. Lowers down the lineswere going for $100 on a $40 face.. so that might be worth a try. At least it's not $300. And if you wait till the first pitch is tossed they would probably be face or less.

Did/will they be selling standing room only "seats"?

They didn't for the alcs so I doubt they will for the alcs. I would snatch those up in a second if they did.

You'd think that there'd be room for SRO on the outfield concourse, right?

You would think so but they didn't for whatever reason for the alds(i accidentally wrote alcs in my previous post) so hopefully they will for this series if we get there, I just don't think they will cause I want them to. :P

Edited by Rowand44

I wonder how many "several thousand" individual tix a game really is. Sounds like less than 10K per game the way they phrase it.

The whole 'don't sell them at the box office' is bogus, IMO. Like you guys were saying in the pinned thread, some guy who says, "Hey, the Sox are good, lets go to a game!" has the same opportunity of getting tickets that me and you have. I certainly would have had no complaints staying outside the Cell last night, regardless of the cold.

Doubtful. Security issues was the reason they didn't for the DS. So I'm sure that will stand.

But I thought they weren't selling SRO . . . :huh

:P :P
