Unfortunatley, I think this win against Duke, and Wisky's huge upset loss today, pretty much assures that the Big East is the best confercence in the country, if there wasn't any doubt already. Pittsnogle and company are next to try to make a statement for the Big East.

Hopefully UCLA gets pittsnogled due to me having money on WVU.

The ACC is kind of overrated imo. You got Duke and then a bunch of meh teams. The big east and big 10 are the two top conferences in the country if you ask me. It's kind of hard to compare them top to bottom due to the big east having 95 teams but though the big 10 has some pretty good teams at the top, the big east has 3 legit national title contenders imo.

IU wins

WVU up 17 at the half at Pauly.

Brian Randle with a nasty looking cut on his forehead. Good start for the Illini though up 13-7. Hopefully they can stitch Randle up and get him back in the game

What an ugly game. IU won 62-49 over rival Purdue. This was just a gritty game, and the refs just made it worse. I've never seen so many touch fouls in my life. You couldn't breathe on a player today.

 

Shooting was poor, but our defense was on point.

 

IU moves into a tie for first in the Big Ten at 4-1. Our next game is at Iowa on Tuesday.

Very good half for the Illini in what is a must win game. Nice to see Dee shooting the ball well on the road, and I really like seeing Carter getting Arnold's minutes.

Good half overall for the Illini. Chester with the 3 at the buzzer was a thing of beauty. His hair on the other hand....

 

Warren and Pruitt just about had top 10 Sportscenter plays, if only their thunder jams would have fell. I hope the tight rim that Northwestern had to shoot on loosens up, it seemed like a bunch of their shots hit front iron and out.
