What does everyone think of this idea?

Featured Replies

I was kinda wondering if the Sox have any plans to allow fans into The Cell for games 3, 4, 5 of the World Series. It would be awesome to watch the games on the jumbotron with a few thousand sox fans screaming and cheering while watching the games. It would give the opportunity for fans who can't make it to the world series games to take in a little world series atmosphere and enjoy the celebration of the World Series!!

I would email Brooks B. about this but I don't have his email address and am too lazy to look it up.

So what does everyone else think about this idea? The Sox could still take in some revenue by keeping a few concessions open and charging a small amount to get in, etc.

No. Insurance liability. We (season ticket holders as a group) asked till we were blue in the face in 2000.

For starters your POS assembly hall doesn't serve alcohol.

Are you just trying to anger the Illini faithful with that comment???

They are already on edge after losing Sherron Collins to Kansas yesterday :P

But if they don't serve alcohol...couldn't they open the place?

I just don't see the point in opening without alcohol. That's where all the $$ is made.
