I said roughly 1 week ago in a thread here that if the world series came down to a decision between whether we would carry Blum or Gload on our roster, we were in serious trouble.

 

Boy, was I ever wrong. And man oh man am I glad I said Blum.

anyone recall the Geoff Blum sandwich , aka the Blumwich, i mentioned back when the sox traded for him?

 

boneless pork from jewel

bbq sauce

swiss cheese

french bread

 

cook it on the grill and enjoy!

In retrospect, its only fitting Blum would step up big. We have seen contributions from Cubans (Duque/Count), African Americans (Dye), Polish (A.J.), midwesterners (Buehrle), country boys (Jenks), Japanese (Iguchi), and hispanics (Garcia). It is only fitting we should add a California surfer dude to the mix.
