October 27, 200520 yr QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Oct 26, 2005 -> 10:44 PM) First place for the entire season...and 11-1 in the playoffs. You think we had a good season? its priceless on how well this team performed since the first pitch day one of the season to the last pitch at the world series. just WOW. i still cant belieave this just happend im still floating in mid air right now. we deserve that trouphy more then any other team in the majors this year. best record in baseball, best pitching, best of anything. i have yet to see a team like this. this will be a year to remember forever in my life, i will never forget the 2005 white sox and what they have done this year.
October 27, 200520 yr This has to to rank right up there with one of the absolute most dominant post-season runs ever. Atleast during the WC era. 11-1. 6-0 on the road. Dominant pitching. The offense actually averaged 6 runs a game in the playoffs. An outstanding display by an outstanding team.
October 27, 200520 yr QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Oct 26, 2005 -> 11:53 PM) Guess which game I went to? LOL That happened to my friend too. This kid is a severely pessimistic person and it is hilarious to hear him b**** about going to the only postseason game that we lose.
