December 7, 200520 yr QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Dec 7, 2005 -> 08:55 AM) Are you 6'5 and approaching 300 pounds? It's reassuring if you're a major fatass or something along those lines. No offense if you are indeed a major fatass. I love you, man. That was my exact post. "Are you a 6'5, 275+lb, hard-swinging black man?"

No offense if you are indeed a major fatass. 6'3" ~215 (at the time) Um... I'd like to think I'm not a major fatass, but I suppose that's subjective. I'm not a small guy, though. But no, I'm obviously not nearly as huge as Frank. I'd guess that he'll need to lose some weight for 2006 in any case. Less weight certainly decreases the risk.
December 7, 200520 yr QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Dec 7, 2005 -> 09:56 AM) "Are you a 6'5, 275+lb, hard-swinging black man?" How about 6'3" and coaches the company softball team? Come on, that's the same.
December 7, 200520 yr Hopefully there is still time for the O's to step in & convince him to go to Baltimore. They certainly have a need with Sosa & Palmeiro out the door. I don't want to have to watch Thomas help the A's beat us in the post season next year.

They certainly have a need with Sosa & Palmeiro out the door. I don't want to have to watch Thomas help the A's beat us in the post season next year. The A's and postseason? Ha. Angels will own that division. Then you'll have White Sox, Indians, Twins, Yankees and Sawx all going for the other 3 spots (2 division winners and a Wild Card.)
December 7, 200520 yr QUOTE(SnB @ Dec 6, 2005 -> 05:28 PM) frank in white shoes? ick. And after Labor Day? I never!
December 7, 200520 yr QUOTE(YASNY @ Dec 7, 2005 -> 07:15 AM) Frank says he's healed right now. While I'm not saying that it's not true, I highly doubt a free agent would go around telling teams that he's still hurting.
