I hope they win, and there's no weird controversy....

Listening to McCarver's reaction to the AJ incident after it happened is even more hilarious now than it was then. He really is a HUGE blowhole!

I still say it hit the dirt too!

Dear Anaheim,

The ball DID in fact hit the dirt.

Thanks, SoxFan1

I remember being there and after started to run i was like WTF and paul threw the ball to the mound. That bottom of the ninth was priceless, next to the WS game 2 too.

This was most intense game I'd ever been to. My nerves were shot.

In the end, it was also the most exciting.

I forgot how much I enjoyed the press conference after the game with the umps. Eddings and his two henchmen were hilarious. They would ask Doug a question and then the goons would jump in and answer for him. Ahhh...Memories!

Tell me about it. As soon as Crede hit that double I was sooooooo relieved.

It was awesome, but for me being at game 2 of WS was the best game i had ever been to.

For me it's a tossup.

I was at Game 3 in Anaheim, which was pretty damn cool to be there for. All the controversy over Eddings and AJ, and Garland comes in and tosses a four-hitter. Outstanding defensive performance and some exciting offense, but the game was never close. The fans came out with ThunderStix a-blazing but it quieted down in a hurry. I thought that was the most important game of the Series for the Sox.

I was also at Game 1 of the World Series, which was a pretty damn good game.

What are you talking about? Who told you all this? Game 3 hasn't even been played yet! Please do not bring any spoliers into this thread!

I remember when Aj was hitting and I kept telling the guys around me that I wanted Crede to come up cause he would hit a walk off, that was my only psychic moment ever.l

That was the first time I saw all that in "realtime" on TV as this was the game I was lucky enough to attend. It was interesting to see that the people on TV were just as confused as those of us at the ballpark.

No, but they did show that dope with the ring sign that changed the magic number before the game was over, who almost got his ass kicked :bang
