February 5, 200620 yr And I know I'm not the only fan of the show on here, but for those that aren't aware of it, Cartoon Network reached some sort of agreement with Groening and company and the show went back into production for a few episodes (IIRC, it wasn't a large number of new episodes, but new episodes are still new episodes). My guess is if the new episodes do well they will order up a full season. Or so I hope. So you assbags better all watch these new episodes cause I demand more new Futurama's
February 5, 200620 yr I heard about that and am excited to see the new ones. That is one series that really grew on me when I started watching it on Adult Swim.

February 5, 200620 yr That was the only show I watched on Cartoon Network for awhile, until I realized what I was missing with Family Guy. I thought I saw this while watching Adult Swim the past week. Do you know when they will show the new episodes?

That's amazing. same here. watched it every so often when it was on fox, but never really got into until adult swim and it being back to back w/ family guy. he it takes flight with cartoon network...
February 5, 200620 yr I'm sorry, but I just never really got this show, no matter how much my brother tries to get me into it.
February 5, 200620 yr I'm pretty sure what they're creating right now are direct-to-DVD movies of Futurama, not new episodes. Since Futurama became so big on Adult Swim and the DVD sales were so large that David X. Cohen and Groening decided to bring the show back with 4 new movies that will be released on DVD.
February 6, 200620 yr QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 10:47 PM) Did you know that Al Gore's daughter was a writer for Futurama? Did you know Al Gore himself appeared on Futurama twice?
February 6, 200620 yr QUOTE(Kalapse @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 05:06 AM) Did you know Al Gore himself appeared on Futurama twice? No, that was just his head.
February 6, 200620 yr QUOTE(Kalapse @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 12:06 AM) Did you know Al Gore himself appeared on Futurama twice? I did not. Kristin Gore is a pretty funny writer, I just got finished reading her book - Sammy's Hill. It actually had a couple laugh out loud moments.
February 6, 200620 yr Author thanks for the more detailed info kalapse. I thought it said movies but I wasn't sure if it was movies or episodes.
