MTV's "Parental Control"

Featured Replies

Holy s***.

Have you SEEN this show???

I hope it's all scripted and fake, otherwise it's a brutal show.

In a nutshell, the premise is:

Parents hate their kid's boyfriend or girlfriend

Parents select two other people for their kid to date

Parents watch the dates WITH the bf/gf

Parents rub it in the bf/gf's face the whole time

I have to ask:

Seriously, who agrees to be on a show like this????

I've never heard of it but I'm sure people will do anything for money, and that there is nothing real about reality tv.

I just watched it with my wife. I thought the same thing, what an evil show. And the parents sit there and talk s*** to the current girlfriend. What girlfriend would want to go through that and still stay with him?

The real question is, what kind of person watches a show like that?

The same kind that is too lazy to change the channel when the wife has set the channel. ;)

I saw it, it's pretty intense. Better than that "My Own" crap.

Another reason why I pretty much leave it on the History Channel.

The kind who has to see it once out of curiosity and will avoid it from now on.

This is the kind of show that if you've seen it once, you've seen every episode.

The last tv show I watched for more then 10 minutes was Game 4.

That's about all Brian watches. I go between various Discovery Channels, History, Food, A and E and then at night the occasional cartoon on Adult Swim.

I think the last time I intentionally watched something on MTV, we lived on Fairfield which is ages ago.

I saw "Robot Chicken" the other night and just about wet myself laughing. I am a big fan of Seth Green though, I had no idea he had his own claymation/cartoon show.

Brian and I love Robot Chicken. Because of his work schedule he doesn't get to watch it much anymore, but I catch it when I can stay up that late lol.
