February 20, 200620 yr WOW!!! That's a sweet little double bossa nova action hes got going in the beginning there. Does he have anything new? Is he playing with any groups, anyone?
February 20, 200620 yr Author Sorry, shoulda linked to his site. He is a member of LazyEye. Pretty typical "modern rock", not terrible but nothing extraordinary. You can hear a ton of their songs on their site. His talents are wasted in that band.
February 20, 200620 yr Wow. I think kids that learn early are less incumbered by the "correct way to play" and are free to really explore and do some amazing things. I was just thinking drum solos seem so 1970s. What happened to the drum?
February 20, 200620 yr Drum solos have always seemed kinda out of place in a live band performance setting. They go on for way too long and seem lost on everyone except for other drummers.

His job is the most physically demanding.
February 20, 200620 yr Bang the Drum All Day I don't want to work I want to bang on the drum all day I don't want to play I just want to bang on the drum all day Listen to this Every day when I get home from work I feel so frustrated The boss is a jerk And I get my sticks and go out to the shed And I pound on that drum like it was the boss's head Because I can bang that drum Hey, you wanna take a bang at it? I can do this all day Do you know what you call a guy that hangs out with musicians? A drummer
February 20, 200620 yr Three guys are standing around at a party talking. The 1st guy says: I have an IQ of 170, I'm a neurosurgeon. Second guy says: I have an IQ of 160, I'm a nuclear physicist. Last guy says: I have an IQ of 45. The 1st guy asks: What kind of sticks do you use?

February 20, 200620 yr Author What did the drummer get on his IQ test? Drool. LOTS more at this location: http://gimp137.tripod.com/myfun.com/id18.html
