Combine that with his decent strength and 45 inch vertical and you have a wonderful OLB/DE prospect. Also, Mario Williams not quite the next Julius Peppers, but probably the closest thing since. 6'7 295 and ran as low as 4.69 in the 40. If you talk to Scott, he'll tell you Lawson is the second-coming. I don't quite know where he projects to go, but, I now suspect he'll be a late first-round selection. Just spitballing: if the Packers have the opportunity to draft an AJ Hawk in the first round, and, if by some grace of God, can land Lawson in the second round, they'll be back on top before we know it. Pope was great catching and running (4.62 for a 6'8" guy.) His blocking wasn't that great b/c of his lack of lower body strength, but if he is there at 26 (assuming Davis has already been picked) the Bears gotta take him. He's bulked up a decent amount in college, but he still doesn't seem fast enough or big enough to play TE. He couldn't block on the college level so he definately won't be able to block on the pro level, and if he can't do that why not go with a bigger, faster, stronger guy who can make catches over the middle and take a pop.
