I guess Tim Redding is starting tomorrow's game, not McCarthy...

Third to first: Tim Redding will be moved up from Sunday's game against Arizona to Saturday's game against Arizona. Cooper wanted to get the right-hander back in action, after he threw just six pitches and yielded a home run, during his short outing Thursday against Colorado. "I wanted to get him right back out there," Cooper said.

good move.  This will only help build up his confidence.

Well, I just read the excerpt again and it never said that Redding is starting. Maybe it just means that McCarthy will start the game and Redding will pitch in relief. Not sure though.
