I won't forget that he did do a great job this season, but he's going to have to get a lot out of next years crew. If he finds a way to do that I have no problem keeping him longer, but if he doesn't, he's probably gone.

Getting more to the point, you just don't like Iowa, and me by proxy.

 

You don't like that I was around immediately following Iowa's loss. You wanted to hate on Iowa along with all your Iowa-hating messageboard buddies. You were upset that I was around to rain on the parade.

 

Around here everyone goes into hiding when their team loses, I'm one of the few who will actually stand up and take a loss like a man, instead of starting threads about fixes and refs being bought off.

 

Overconfident know-it-all, maybe, but it's better than being a shortsighted conspiracy theorist.

I never named him as a done deal.

 

I said he could be a candidate and he signed with Nova a day or two later and I never mentioned him again.

 

Less than a week ago, when Iowa was being embarassed by Northwestern State, you pretty much summed it up that we were getting Alford. Turns out, we are not.

 

Anyhow I am done bickering with you because its not worth it. We have gotten along well in the past, your blog is great and I have nothing against you. We're finished arguing.

Hey, I'm not shortsighted and don't go into hiding after my team loses! And I wasn't mad at you for coming around right after Iowa lost at all, I was simply a bit bewildered that you came on and talked trash to Indiana fans after that tragic a loss. You have a great blog and are a very knowledgeable fan, but you simply puzzle me at times, that's all.
