Did those who got it from deep discount get free shipping? If you did do you have it already? Thx!

I got something this morning from Amazon, telling me mine has shipped.

Just received my copy today!  Watching Game 3 as we speak.

I am no DVD expert, but I am dissapointed in that it doesn't appear to be widescreen.  Well it is Widescreen, but it doesn't take up the full screen like most of the widescreen movies.

Other than that, it's pretty much a lost weekend!

Movies are shot for moviescreens not televisions. These games were shot for television not moviescreens........

True, but there's this new invention called High Definition Television, and believe it or not they broadcast sports games in Widescreen. Can you imagine that?

Much better quality than the replays shown on Comcast though, I assume??

I have my tapes of Games 2-5 of the ALCS and games 1-4 of the WS, which is fine for me now. There in pretty good quality tapes, but I still would like to transfer them to DVD. I will eventually get the MLB DVD though.

Hey all I'm new to this board. Just heard about it the other day.

I work at a newspaper and a copy of this set was sent to a reporter that doesn't work here anymore so my co-worker got to keep it. She only watched the bonus disk so far but said it was pretty cool. Also it's like 7 disks and has the clinchers from the Boston and Anaheim series.

Hopefully I get this as a wedding gift and if not then I'll use some of the money we get to buy it.

I did some more looking into it. They say it's 4:3 Letterbox. I have never seen that before. Usually if something is Letterboxed it's set up for 16:9 TVs. That way it takes up the whole screen without any black bars, which is how it looked when broadcast in HD format.

It's a bit of a bummer, but it's great being able to watch the games! Even better, every time I watch it, the Sox still end up sweeping the Astros! :)

Very happy and surprised the games are letterboxed!!
