Shuttle buses from the western suburbs to the Cell

Featured Replies

This is from Friday's Southtown:

Pace will run shuttle buses this season between the west suburbs ans U.S. Cellular Field. The service debuts for the April 2 season opener. Two Park-n-ride lots along Interstate 55 in Bolingbrook and Burr Ridge will be the departure and return points. A round trip costs $7.50, and tickets bought in 6 packs cost $30. The shuttles will run on nights, weekends and holidays for all games in June, July and August.

good to know

I'm pretty sure I remember metra finally saying that they were going to make a stop for the cell on the rock island track, is that going to be available this year?

The answer to this question, lies on the other side of this link:

Because I care

I think Juggs suggested something similar to this a while back.

it's crazy that it wasn't built years ago.....the track goes RIGHT by the stadium.

Sweet, the Burr Ridge stop is about 3 minutes from my house. Maybe I'll use it.

Sounds like it could be a pretty decent alternative to the headaches. Only drawback...you can't tailgate on a pace bus :crying
