Iguchi CANNOT make a catch running backwards, although the wind probably had an impact.

I bet Cintron would have caught it

Wind blown ball went much further than Iguchi thought and it dropped. Very tough play to make.

Sac fly RBI, 1-1 tie.

Wow...that wind must be pretty stiff for that. Shake it off Gooch!!!

Haha. It happens all the time in AZ. BA had one earlier. Happened to Ross the other day. Uribe had it happen twice I think.

The wind screwed Iguchi on that one but I've noticed that he is terrible at making catches when he has to backpeddle into the outfield.

still top of the 2nd?

i think the brew crew could actually have a winning record this year.

Alex Cintron is already out of the game? Chris Getz is pinch-hitting for him.

He actually got so bad at it last season that he'd be scared to go after some pop flies behind first base or in shallow RF. Luckily, you don't see too many of those type of plays during a season.

Let's go White Sox!! Wow...Ozzie subbed in already??

I hope Cintron isn't hurt.

Hawk didn't know who Getz was. It reminded me of earlier in spring training when they had Singleton in the booth and Hawk told him how hard he had to work and how much homework he needed to do. The next 3 or 4 Sox hitters Hawk had no clue as to who they were, even when the were announced on the PA. :D

Nice baserunning, AJ. He gets doubled up off of first base.

Inning over.

I know its late in spring training, and these guys may be bored, but this is exactly the type of s*** that shouldn't happen.

Maybe he got traded

I was thinking the same thing but that would be shocking to me. Especially considering Iguchi's struggles at the plate. It's definately a possibility though.

Anyone else notice Freddy is pitching with a "don't give a s***" attitude?

It doesn't bother me, but you can tell he's just going through the motions.

EDIT: And on cue, Hawk/DJ bring it up. :bang

I like to call it "First inning" Freddy.

He has retired 6 in a row though.

Damn Freddy...c'mon, we need one solid outing before the season.

3 up 3 down, 6 in a row retired with the "dont give a crap"

attitude!
