ive thrown balls in the outfield before and i mangaged to reach it between the second base and the pitchers mound

if i can do it why cant a major leaguer?

Some players are just born with a noodle hanging from their right or left shoulder. Just because you're a good athlete doesn't mean you can throw a ball far and hard.

i can see why they would send him back to the minors but i woulda liked to see him used as a sub u know

Our bench is loaded. Owens is best served getting more experience in AAA.

Well, I won't be looking at his power numbers. BA/OBP/SB is what I'll be looking for.

Agreed. Owens power numbers are not of concern, unless he hits 10 and thinks he's the next Scott Podsednik. I hope he hits 2 and forgets about homers and concentrates on OBP.

Smaller park means fewer singles and doubles. I'd pay attention to that more than anything. Given his hitting style, if he hits .300+ in Charlotte, he's the ready for the show.
