Some players are just born with a noodle hanging from their right or left shoulder. Just because you're a good athlete doesn't mean you can throw a ball far and hard. Will be interesting to see how he does moving from a pitcher's park in B-Ham to a hitters park in Charlotte, and how it affects his power numbers etc.

BA/OBP/SB is what I'll be looking for.
YASNY
QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Apr 2, 2006 -> 12:49 AM) Well, I won't be looking at his power numbers. BA/OBP/SB is what I'll be looking for. Agreed. Owens power numbers are not of concern, unless he hits 10 and thinks he's the next Scott Podsednik. I hope he hits 2 and forgets about homers and concentrates on OBP. Gene Honda Civic
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Apr 2, 2006 -> 12:33 AM) ^^. Will be interesting to see how he does moving from a pitcher's park in B-Ham to a hitters park in Charlotte, and how it affects his power numbers etc. Smaller park means fewer singles and doubles. I'd pay attention to that more than anything. Given his hitting style, if he hits .300+ in Charlotte, he's the ready for the show.
