Question about 4/4 ceremony/pre game.

Featured Replies

I was stuck at work today and couldn't get to the park. For those of you who went today, did they play the same video from Sunday night on the big scoreboard today? I'm going to the game tomorrow with a friend who really wants to see it. I figure if they played it today, they'll probably play it tomorrow too.

Thx.

Comcast actually aired that video in full at the beginning of their broadcast today.

Stupid question, but was it an internal feed from the studio, or was it actually playing live from the park??

Would be sweet if someone recorded it and threw it up on YouTube. :pray

The only video they showed at the game was the player intro videos (with thunderstruck). None of the other videos from Sunday were played.

That is not true. They played the Sunday montage video as well.

Ok, there is a 4 page thread with all these people claiming they went to the game today. :bang

Yeah, they played that one with the new footage from last year...I just think of the whole thing as one video

It was a studio feed, they showed both the opening montage and the banner raising video both in HD.

I have it recorded, but only on video, not DVR (I'm cheap, and the fiancee has enough doctor bills right now). If someone were to be in my area and interested and able to put that video online, I'd be happy to help. Best offer I can make though.

I have it on my tivo but no clue how to get it to my computer.

Ok, I know this is an old thread now, but I have to ask a question...

The video montage that was new for this year (they played it Sunday Opening Night), the one BEFORE the Pirates-music one that they played all last year... anyone recognize the music? Sort of subdued, orchestral stuff, not as energetic as the Pirates music but still very cool. I'm a bit of a soundtrack fan, and I know classical music pretty well, but I didnt recognize it.

Anyone know what that music was? I'd really like to know.

If I was at home right now, you'd have an answer.

My wife loves that piece. I'm sure she knows who composed it.

All I know is that Ministry used it as an intro on the opening track of Houses Of The Mole.

:huh :D

Thanks - thats a start.

Now I just need to find someone who owns that album. I'd buy it, but I'm not a fan of Ministry (they went to my high school, by happenstance).

If you happen to remember to check when you get home, I'd be appreciative.
