April 6, 200619 yr Would u guys keep the same rotation or would u rather have a diff. no.1, no.2,no.3 etc..
April 6, 200619 yr I would've set it so that Garcia pitched tomorrow's game... Buehrle Contreras Garland Garcia Vazquez Then again, it may be a moot point if Freddy is struggling to hit the upper 80s on the gun.
April 6, 200619 yr QUOTE(whitesoxgt @ Apr 6, 2006 -> 03:42 PM) Would u guys keep the same rotation or would u rather have a diff. no.1, no.2,no.3 etc.. It makes absolutely no difference after the first week.
April 6, 200619 yr Author QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Apr 6, 2006 -> 04:49 PM) It makes absolutely no difference after the first week. so in ur opinion who would u pick as the best 3 pitchers we have?
April 6, 200619 yr QUOTE(whitesoxgt @ Apr 6, 2006 -> 03:50 PM) so in ur opinion who would u pick as the best 3 pitchers we have? Our 3 best pitchers? That's tough with this staff. Stuff/talent wise it's Jose. Consistency is easily Buehrle. I guess I'll go Contreras, Buehrle, Garcia. Garcia because he has more of a proven track record over Garland and Vazquez.

He pitches to his competition.

I think count might be our # 2, but was bumped due to his allergic reaction on his face the other day.

April 7, 200619 yr IMO I really think Garcia is an overrated pitcher. I'm not going to knock him and say he's not good, but he's not an elite pitcher anymore and is definitely not the second best pitcher on this very talented staff. I hope he is the one traded in the off season to make room for McCarthy. The only thing holding me against that is his superb playoff experience.
April 7, 200619 yr QUOTE(SoxPride56 @ Apr 6, 2006 -> 05:44 PM) Coop said it best... Are number 1 is whomever is pitching that day. I'm pretty sure he said our, not are

I agree with this but u know hes not going anywhere since hes so close to Ozzie
April 7, 200619 yr agreed, garcia and ozzie are very close, and not going anywhere, and i like it like that. I like garcia as a starter (not number 1 or even 2, but 3 for sure).
