Scoreboard messages

Featured Replies

Does anyone know how you go about getting a message up on the scoreboard during a game?

Do they charge by the word?...# of lines?

Do they let you know roughly when the message will come up, or do you have to look for it all game long?

Commemorate a special occasion by displaying a message on the U.S. Cellular Field centerfield scoreboard during a 2006 White Sox season home game. Scoreboard messages are available for a $40 donation to Chicago White Sox Charities. Messages can be up to 75 characters or less including spaces and punctuation and are displayed during the third inning.

Thx.

Only during the 3rd inning? How about the rest of the messages they show all game long?

That's been the standard release for at least 10 years. They go on all game until they are done. They do have a limit though, so call and reserve soon.

I did it for my wife the day of game, but that was a few years ago. I'm sure it's much busier now. One thing I didn't like ws they wait to take the photo until after the game (so they can have it all lit up) and put up a bunch of fake stats. The game we went to the Sox lost 5-3 or something. The picture has them winning 21 - 19 with Thomas at the plate and battine .453. It kind of makes the photo look cheesy, but I'm sure I'm the only one that notices.

C'mon Eye... it's cute. I have one from a few years ago that has Maggs BA at .350, game in the third inning, and the score 5-0 Sox. I also have one waaaay back with Fisk batting.

You know, i almost put Steff...Jim in there, but thought better of it because i didn't want to offend the hooded lady. Next time i'll have to think better of that, too :P

I did it for my Dad's Birthday all money went to charity fine with me.

When I was at the game this past saturday my girlfriend needed some sunblock so I went to guest relations and I saw someone siging up for scoreboard messages during the game. I really dont think they are TOO BUSY

You can call, do it on the website, or at the park. They request that you have them in a week before the date you want them displayed.
