I'd agree with that if he was even hitting .240. .188 won't cut it.

But we cant have two of those players batting one after another. One of them has to hit so they can both stay.

 

It's like playing a game with 7 guys in little league, and having 2 automatic outs at the end of the lineup.

 

Granted, in this case, atleast 1 out of 6 times they get a hit.

I'm sure it'll depend how he feels in the next day or so, but if he's ok you almost have to run him out there. The next turn is in the dome in Minneapolis on Monday, who knows what that does to a knuckleball.
