In case anyone was wondering because I never knew what Hawk was talking about:

Catbird seat (as it is usually written) usually appears in the fuller form in the catbird seat, meaning to be in an advantageous or prominent position, one of ease and favour. Its first appearance in print was in a famous short story of that title by James Thurber, published in the New Yorker on 14 November 1942.

You know if Frank and Maggs hadn't gone down in 05 Ozzie might be 2 for 2.

haha hawk always says that, im sure we would be 2/2, koch was our closer

Some pathetic at-bats that inning. We missed a bunch of cookies, and players failed to protect the plate.

Here is a clue to our right handed batters. For the last 4 years, pitchers have been going away away away on you. So dont act shocked when you see 4 pitches on the outside corner, and then allow it to freeze you for a strikeout. It shouldnt be a mystery.

Damn those 2 gals in the Bacardi and Cola commercial are slammin.

To be fair, that was one helluva pitch to JD. Perfect location.

I almost feel bad for Ozzie have this cast of characters in the bullpen

mac in the game

Yep, get em back up on that horse. There is a method to his method. Ozzie is Method Man

I have no faith in anyone coming out of this pen right now, minus Jenks.

1 down

Hawk is philosophizing again.

You beat me to it.

Hawk, I beg to differ on the Jeff Nelson move last inning and I am still smarting over The Boone Logan Experience.
