I figured this would be a good idea, I'll keep it updated as much as possible, and this hopefully makes it easy to keep track of where we are, as it's going to be a hell of a race.

GO SOX!!!

Is this really needed so early in the season? We are only 2 months in..

It's an off-day. We need something to talk about.

I'll watch.

So you really think the Sox will win the wild card eh? The Tigers IMO are not deep enough to sustain for a full season.

I think what he is saying is that "if it started today". After watching the Rangers kick our asses the last three days, I would not mind missing them in the first round. Boston/Detroit I'd take but Texas looked really good.

Hey the only reason I started it today is this: Are we going to make the playoffs? If your asking me, hell yes we are. So by starting it this early, we will have a hell of a thread to look back on come October with a lot of emotional swings and fun quotes. That's all I had in mind, plus I think it will be a great race and a spot to keep track of everybody in 1 thread would be a plus.

Yeah, you are correct. Damn I have to work on my reading comprehension skills.

Its the start of June.. there are too many things that can happen between now and the end of the year that talking about if we will make the playoffs or not now is really, really pointless.

I'm all for this. Of course it's early but it's fun to see where we're at.

BTW my main concern throughout the season (worked last year!) without looking too far ahead is just: win the series. Take the two out of three or three out of four, whatever, but just win the series.

That tends to keep things in perspective.

Sounds similiar to what people said about the White Sox last year, no?

No, it really doesn't. No matter how much I hear people say this I still don't see the corelation.

Well, you see, the thing about that is, that the White Sox were the only team ever not chosen by the pundits who won.

Yes indeed.
