After watching the Rangers kick our asses the last three days, I would not mind missing them in the first round. Boston/Detroit I'd take but Texas looked really good. So by starting it this early, we will have a hell of a thread to look back on come October with a lot of emotional swings and fun quotes. Its the start of June.. there are too many things that can happen between now and the end of the year that talking about if we will make the playoffs or not now is really, really pointless. BTW my main concern throughout the season (worked last year!) without looking too far ahead is just: win the series. Take the two out of three or three out of four, whatever, but just win the series.
