What pick are we at?

Does anybody thing Daniel Bard could slip to the Sox? It would be sweet to let him work as a reliever for us down to stretch to save innings and bring him up in Sept.

Lets not get too giddy, someone will snag him before us (think Anaheim). You also have UCLA's lefty who I'm quite high on. If he slides wowza.

The Sox will be taking a power arm, guarenteed. Beato, Walden, Morris, or Betances.

Kennedy goes to the yanks.

Before the year they'd have been thrilled if they were told they would nab Kennedy. But this is a bit of a reach.

He's a boozer and has had weight issues.

We wouldn't have signed him. I like Kennedy more than most, but he has had a lot of issues this year (loss of velocity and a downright mediocre season). Mix that with Boras' demands and its totally a Yankee type pick, but not a wise one for the Sox.
