Does anybody thing Daniel Bard could slip to the Sox? It would be sweet to let him work as a reliever for us down to stretch to save innings and bring him up in Sept.

Lets not get too giddy, someone will snag him before us (think Anaheim). You also have UCLA's lefty who I'm quite high on. If he slides wowza.

The Sox will be taking a power arm, guarenteed. Beato, Walden, Morris, or Betances.

Kennedy goes to the yanks.

Before the year they'd have been thrilled if they were told they would nab Kennedy. But this is a bit of a reach.

He's a boozer and has had weight issues.

So was Babe Ruth :bang

damn. I was hoping Ian Kennedy might still be around for the Sox.

I said that on Drabek, too and he got picked. I shouldn't get so giddy.

See if the Angels nab Bard here.

We might as well have a beer company sponsor our bullpen then.

It's weird seeing these guys younger than me.

Give it time, it doesn't get better. :lolhitting

Money is not an issue with the Angels, so my guess is they take Bard.

We wouldn't have signed him. I like Kennedy more than most, but he has had a lot of issues this year (loss of velocity and a downright mediocre season). Mix that with Boras' demands and its totally a Yankee type pick, but not a wise one for the Sox.

They do need arms in the system, so that is a good guess.

Angels take prep catcher.

Angels take Hgun Choi Conger

Angels nab a catcher: Heng Choi Conger

Dodgers could take Bard or they could go with Morris.

Angels dont take him

Conger to the Angels. Fingers are still crossed.

Avery Morris for the Dodgers. Two Sawx picks then our sox.

BoSox could use pitching and the Dodgers take Morris. Beato could go to the BoSox as could Bard and so could both since they are the two picks standing in our way.

I love how this draft goes so quickly. It makes it more fun with all the rapid fire.

I bet the Sox pick somebody under the radar, watch.
