On Friday, Ryan Meaux tossed a No No

Featured Replies

Just wanted to point out that former Sox farmhand Ryan Meaux tossed a no no this past friday. It wasn't just a no no, but a perfect game, although he didn't pitch the entire game (he did start).

It was for the Portland Beavers (AAA).

ROFL...perfect game :D

He still got shelled in AAA, and that Geoff Blum HR was so worth him.

Well yes, his ERA is over 10 in AAA, however he's only 27 (28 in October), so he has plenty of time to keep developing his game as the great prospect that he is.

The perfect game is very misleading Meaux pitched 4 innings of a 7 inning DH game. Two games before the Tucson Sidewinders had batting pratice off him for a whole series. Tucson has the 2nd best record in AAA of course #1 is the Charlotte Knights.
