Pics from new Fire stadium

Featured Replies

You took a picture of the bathroom?

Nice pictures. I'm sure the guy in the bathroom was severely displeased.

Nice stadium. I wish i liked soccer, i would go to the games. But i just dont get soccer.

how much does the beer cost?

I work security for Bridgeview events. I've been there every game thus far.

If you look hard enough you can actually see me in one of those pictures -- Number 15 posted on your blog. It's the one in which one of the Fire members are ready to kick of ball from the corner. Not very clear, but it's obviously me. I'm on the left wearing a red hat.

Hell, for several of the pictures taken took you probably walked right past me.

with a guy taking a whiz nonetheless... :bang

I like the potential set-up for concerts... hopefully this place will eventually drown the s***ty Tweeter Center. The worst ampitheatre in the WORLD.

Nice pictures. I hope to get out there on the fourth of July

Does anyone know if this is where the new major league lacrosse team will play? I would bet so.

I do not believe that the Chicago Machine will be playing there. It's a soccer-specific stadium that can also be used as a concert venue. Wiki says Toyota Park is only home to the Chicago Fire and it's developmental team, the Chicago Fire Premier.

Oh, okay. Thanks. So, does anyone know where they are gonna play?

This place does not look nearly as nice as Columbus Crews' field. That stadium is awesome, and a very good place to catch a concert.

How far away is this place from Downtown? Is public transportation possible?

Also how do you go about buying SINGLE game tickets??

ticketmaster

1-888-MLS-FIRE

or

Toyota Park box office

It's located in Bridgeview, a southwest suburb about 30-40 minutes from downtown.

Public transportation is kinda sketchy from the city, because Pace bus service blows ass.

Pace hardly runs at all after 7pm on weekends.
