I know he got hit with a ball last night in the arm or something, but I was out of the room when it happened and when i got back Mack was at 3rd and I got worried. Was it just precautionary hopefully?

Way to give some people a heart attack. The x-ray came back negative, he will probably get the next two days off.

I think we'll be fine with him on the bench for a couple days.

He stayed in the game and was replaced after the inning. I think since it was 13-0, they were comfortable taking him out. X-rays were negative (no break), with Crede's injury being listed as a left forearm contusion (a bruise).

It is all good but he may see some time off in the last few games because it might be painful to hit. He will be back in full post ASG.

Actually might be a good time to bring up Josh Fields to

A.) See what he has at the next level and

B.) Show case him a little bit before the trade deadline.

How can anyone take this seriously? It was funny. He said the absolute two extremes, of course he's kidding.

I just hope Ozzie realized that Mack at 3b is a disaster. If you have to sit Iguchi and Crede over the next two days and Ozuna isn't ready, then please put Mack at 2B where at least he has longer to react, and Cintron at 3B. There were at least two "hits" the O's got that Crede (or Cintron) would have gobbled up but which left Mackowiak befuddled.

Those balls toward Mack at third were ripped. They would have been tough plays for Crede. Cintron had an easy chance at 3rd Sunday which he screwed up.

man, asb is coming at the right time.

Ditto. Quite a few of our guys are getting banged up. Kind of a freak thing with Gooch and it's always good to see Crede reasting his back and others getting alittle break.

I think there might be something wrong here.

On the most recent ESPN Radio Update, they said Crede is having his hand re-examined today.

I hope everything is okay, but it might not be.

There seems to be one series every year where we have a bunch of injuries.
