it's not thome's fault 2 of 3

He hasn't been close to touching a pitch of RJ's. He would have walked on that 3-1 pitch, but that was a lot closer to being a strike than his first AB.

Have I ever told anyone how much I hate the Yankees?

Oh wait, this sounds like a repeat.

The vaunted Yankees get a great ump tonight! I'll tell you that much.

Chill out, seriously.

Don't hold back. Tell us what you really think.

Trust me, there is PLENTY more of this to come if the Yankees keep getting these calls. PLENTY. I hate the Yankees more than I hate every single other thing in the world of professional sports. Even more than the Bears!

How was Contreras' first pitch difference than Johnson's called strike?

I'm telling you....I'm not a fan of coaches getting tossed, but Cooper should have taken one for the team.

I eagerly anticipate your posts this series then. :P

This is the 'chilled' me on the subject of the Yankees. If this were a face-to-face conversastion with a friend, it'd be 11x worse.

Tito, I'm being nice this time just editing that out. If it happens again, you know what will happen.

That ball was hurt.

The way Randy is pitching I don't like our chances.

How the f*** does Aaron Guiel own us?

Roger that.

Well, atleast it was Guiel that homers. I can't say I hate him as much as the rest yet. As he's only had 6 ABs with the Yankees so far.. or maybe its 5.

Guiel always has good at-bats against us. If we don't comeback, it's just another loss in the Widger category.

4-2 Royals. It's inevitable.

He's just pissed we owned his old team year-in and year-out. It was just pent-up frustation.

i say when the relief comes in we switch to Pierz

2 more innings, and we'll have a much tougher pitcher to face. I would love to see Ozzie get more aggressive with certain players on our team. If Anderson gets on base with no outs, we should be doing something with Ozuna at the plate.

Aaron Guiel always reminded me of Brian Giles, minus a lot of muscle mass and 300 points on his OPS.

Chances of Ozzie doing that are remote.

I'm much more concerned with the Yankees, and the Wild Card situation.

oh i know - i'm not expecting, just hoping

Brian is so silky smooth out in the gaps, it's a thing of beauty.

NM, Guiel hits .190 against us. THat can't be right.

Me too, because I know we can beat the Tigers when we play them.

Much like his Silky smooth golden locks of hair.

He's dreamy.

oh you shouldnt have started that.

One positive thing to note is that Johnson generally starts to falter late in games. Plus, the White Sox are going to have see the Yankee bullpen in some shape or form, and I like their chances against everyone but Rivera, and even he can be suspect at times
