July 28, 200619 yr Who would you rather have win the series? Tigers sweep, Twins sweep, Tigers 2-1, Twins 2-1. Based off the pitching matchups, it looks like the Twins will take 2 of 3. The Tigers get Santana and Liriano, and the Twins miss out on Verlander.
July 28, 200619 yr I'm not going to worry about it. Whatever happens, happens. I'm worried about the Sox and they need to take care of business before they rely on other teams to help them.
July 28, 200619 yr Don't really care...I care more about what the Sox do cause this is all meaningless if we can't take care of business. If the Sox can get back to playing good baseball, everything will work itself out, imo.
July 28, 200619 yr I want a Tigers' sweep right now. We can't really about them too much right now with the lead they have and the way we are playing, while the Twins are right there with us in the standings. Hopefully it'll also cool off the Twins a bit.
July 28, 200619 yr QUOTE(rudylaw @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 04:40 PM) I think one of the teams will win the series by having more victories in the series that the other team. I also think that the team that win each game will score more runs than the other team. Dan Fouts?
July 29, 200619 yr Magglio doubles in two in the first against Liriano. Edit: Home plate umpire is incredibly bad, giving Liriano some very strange strike calls... Edited July 29, 200619 yr by loltrain
July 29, 200619 yr If I could root for anything in this series it would be for the two teams to completely beat each other up, go into each teams pen early and often and really have both left realing following the series. I really don't care what the results are, but I think I already said that once. I care most about the Sox taking care of business and if we don't I'll be rooting for the Twins and Tigers to do there business in the playoffs (unless the Angels are in it).
