I would say it's a mixture of the two, with the most emphasis placed on recent performance. But you also can't lose 20 spots or even 10 in one week as so many seem to be calling for. It's not a fair analysis.

He sounds like the anti-Garcia. But the power ranking have to do with how a team is playing and how it is capable of playing. but i still think that in this present moment the white sox are overrated.
