a collision involving Uribe would have been very bad.

It'd be really nice of the Sox to give Mark some runs here.

Guys, Rogers has a NO HITTER GOING.

Is it just me or does the Fox broadcast seem different? It appears like there's some sort of cinematic camera effect goin on...it's really wierd.

I think their cameras are capable of more frames/second because the slo-mo always looks a bit better.

Thankfully Pinella isn't managing cause we would have Pods in RF.

That last pitch by Rogers to Scotty was sick.

I really hope KW can aquire a back-up outfielder who we can play against lefty pitchers.

Gooch needs to have a smart at bat here.

Ya, that high FB to set things up was really nice too.

Guchi likes ending no no's.

pathetic offense..no hitter...BS

What are our hitters doing? It's like they're scared to death to actually take a strike against Rogers. Our 4-5-6 are the best chances for production today.

On a specific level, three incumbent starters — Mark Buehrle, Freddy Garcia and Jon Garland — have all seen their groundball-fly ball ratios decline sharply. That means more balls in the air, and that has a couple of consequences. First, this is an outfield defense that no longer has Gold Glover Aaron Rowand patrolling center, and his absence in tandem with the extra dose of fly balls may have a good deal to do with that increased hit rate.

Dayn, you douche. We are not in second due to lack of Rowand in the outfield.

Rogers' curveball is scary good today.

why can't Thome bunt when they're shifting that bad?

Technically speaking, we have a few more wins if Aaron is playing everyday. Simply because it means we don't have Mack in center but a handful of times.

It is at this point I must remind Kenny Rogers to start sucking.

he's not paid to bunt, especially when there are 2 outs and no one on.

Guys, Thome had the best AB of the game though, so hopefully Mark can make it a quick inning and get Paulie up and we can start working Rogers a bit more and having quality AB's and getting things done.

However, to answer some of your questions...Rogers is the type of guy you should get early when he's throwing strikes because if he gets ahead of you, his breaking stuff is rarely in the zone, but guys will be chasing it. So if you get an early FB, go for it. Problem is he's locating exceptionally today and doing a great job mixing his stuff up.

We'll just have to hope Mark matches Rogers and than some and that our offense can figure things out eventually.

I agree with that, but it's still the pitching's fault above anything.

His suckification factor seems quite low today.

You have Kenny Rogers pitching. He's a freaking cat on the mound.

he's paid to get on base. Hell, Ortiz did the same thing a little while ago.
