Uribe didn't look too agile on that play.

I agree with that, but it's still the pitching's fault above anything.

No doubt.

You have Kenny Rogers pitching. He's a freaking cat on the mound.

Nah..he's a tiger :P

And now Uribe's inability to get the ball out of his glove cost us a DP.

Uribe could have knitted a sweater in the time it took him to turn that double play.

Last year we turn that. We were so good at helping our pitchers out with the DP, this year, not near as good (got no stat to back it up, just going off my eyes).

I wonder how much confidence he has right now?

None...Ozzie does a great job tearing players apart.

f***ing Casey.

What are the odds of Citron pinch hitting later in the game for Uribe?

damn. we lose

he's paid to get on base. Hell, Ortiz did the same thing a little while ago.

you have to look at the situation. Ortiz did it to lead off an inning when they were down. You never have your power hitter lay one down with 2 outs and none on

Those two runs are on Juan Uribe. Team speed also comes back to bite us in the ass again.

championship mentality right there

That wasn't a pitch a lot of guys swing at that far down and in.

if we were doing anything but looking retarded against Rogers, I'd have hope.

Uribe moving like Grandpa Munster costs us two runs.

At this point, swear filter keeps me from accurately expressing myself.

That's right in Casey's wheelhouse though.

great, enjoy your afternoon...see you tomorrow

One mistake and its 2-0. Wish we turn that DP. Doesn't show in the scorecard, but that hustle mixed with a slow give to Iguchi by Uribe gives them this.

Come on Sox, please pick Mark up.

It's the little things like hustling out of the box to avoid the DP that has made the Tigers so great this year. On the other hand, it's the inability to turn a DP on a routine grounder which has killed our pitchers this season.

:D

oh I just figured you were doing something more productive with your time than watching this game that you've conceded
