For a good starting pitcher? I think he'd do it in a second. He almost traded Konerko for Washburn 2 or 3 years ago.

The dynamics surrounding PK have drastically changed since then. As someone just said, he's the face of the Sox.

That's before Konerko became the team captain, the face of the club and recieved a $12M a year salary. Pauly is here for the long haul.

Freddy's thrown too many good breaking pitches this AB. We have to hope he doesn't hang one now.

PK, Thome, Dye, Jenks and AJP are the 5 guys that I guarantee won't get traded this offseason.

Hes the Face of the white sox.

Shows how much I pay attention.

yawn... so whats freddy's pitch count up to... 50?

I like the idea. Maybe Kenny wouldn't consider it. But I think "because he's the face of the organization" is a stupid reason not to consider trading it. Maybe that is what Kenny is thinking, but if he is, that's pretty dense. It's not like the fans would be up in arms if Konerko were traded for a very good starting pitcher.

care to explain why?

I can logically see why every other on the player could possibly be moved.

I'm not one to play GM and throw out my idea for what I would do, since I'm a fool. :P

Sounds right though.

Does that really require explaining?

Wow....Garcia got away with a horrific pitch.

doesnt mean that it cant or hasnt happend before

Why are we having Garcia try to get out a young hitter with a weak, inside fastball when there's two strikes? Some more pathetic pitch calling by AJP.

Ugh, the first of 8 I'm sure.

Thats ballgame with our medicore offense.

Kong pull ball, AJ pull ball. Everyone pull ball.

Thank god we gave a 3 year deal to Walker.

Big League Choo GIDPs :)

Choo FTW

DP ball way to go Freddy

Even when we get a double play, the other team shows more hustle than we do.

Juan Uribe has a very strong arm.

Most of our hitters would have slowed down halfway to 1st.

The Indians aren't done scoring, so it would really benefit the Sox to wake up the bats now, and not in the 6th or 7th inning. I'm eagerly anticipating Uribe trying to break out of his 20 AB hitless streak against a junk pitcher.
