With all the talk of unbreakable records - 56-game hit streak, Ripken's consecutive games - is this the greatest record in baseball? The prior record for consecutive division wins was 5 (granted, it is a little easier now with 3 divisions per league).

That's a great streak. Granted there was a chance that the Expos would've won it in 1994 since they had the best record in baseball at the time but still it's an enourmous streak. It'll be interesting to see how far the Yankees can go.

What a great organization and an amazing streak. I'm almost disappointed to see it end.
