Magazines

Featured Replies

I usually read each print issue of Esquire, Latitudes & Attitudes, Scouting, Backpacker, Outdoors, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Texas Highways, and Texas Monthly.

Sadly, I don't get as many as I used to. Finances dragged me down a bit. But, those I do enjoy that I try and get:

Video Watchdog

Bubblegum Slut

Unbelievably Bad

Mad Scientist

G-Fan

I think everybody should be reading Sonic Ruin. ahem.

There are so many more I would like to read, and so many more that I know I will be getting soon.

I wish I had more time for mags. The only ones I read at least semi-regularly are Outside and Backpacker. I barely have time to read books anymore either.

I read two papers every weekday - WSJ on the way to work, the Trib on the way home.

the new yorker, men's health, espn, sports illustrated. i read my girlfriend's people. guilty pleasure, what can i say.

Playboy and The Economist, but there are only so many pooping hours in a week.

Sporting News

Sports Weekly

Hard to get magazines in college.

Nature, Science, Geology, G-Cubed, Earth and Planetary Science Letters, Journal of Petrology, Geophysical Research Letters, American Mineralogist.

What?

The economist is the only magazine I subscribe to... Its all content; no advertising.

National Geographic is the only one I really get a chance to read monthly. Most of my other reading time is either the news on the net, the Chicago Tribune, or my book du jour.

Not counting scientific journals, all I read regularly in print are Brew Your Uwn, Beer, and Zymurgy.

At least my head is not in the gutter, it's in a brewery. :D

I had a subscription to Game Informer through EB Games only because they offered to give me a discount on the stuff I was buying. It has since expired. So now I don't have any magazine subscriptions. Which is really sad considering I work for a magazine fulfillment company...

Sporting News(Cannot live without it)

Sports Illustrated

Baseball Digest

ESPN the Magazine

Electronic Gaming Monthly

Naw, it's gotta be National Review for the boobs. Frum, Lowry, Luskin, and all those fellas from Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute. . . Now, that's a lot of boobs.

I also get various professional journals, but they are far less fun to read.
