November 26, 200619 yr I know we stand to lose Jay Marshall & Ricardo Nanita. Anyone from other organizations interest anyone? I wouldn't be against the sox picking up Carlos Santana from the dodgers. 3B Carlos Santana (04/08/1986) 5' 11", 170, B-S, T-R. 2001 FA from the Dominican Republic @ A+ .303/.423/.515 7HR 27RBI, 30BB/19SO 4SB/0CS and before anyone posts a picture of THE Carlos Santana let me save you the time .
November 26, 200619 yr QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Nov 26, 2006 -> 09:48 AM) Our 40-man is full. We can't pick anyone. We could in the minor league portion.
November 27, 200619 yr I doubt we pick anyone up, it's hard to have a rule V guy on a contending team anyways.

December 8, 200619 yr FWIW, we lost Jay Marshall (lefty who pitched well at WS last year) and someone named Moviel (RHP, played at Kanny last year)
December 8, 200619 yr QUOTE(ChiSox_Sonix @ Dec 7, 2006 -> 04:31 PM) FWIW, we lost Jay Marshall (lefty who pitched well at WS last year) and someone named Moviel (RHP, played at Kanny last year) Paul Moviel who is the old brother of a former brother we drafted that's pretty highly thought of. Marshall was an older guy that had some damn good success down in low A ball but in the end it was just low A ball and while he may be a sleeper I'd be shocked if a team held onto him for a full season. Either way it wasn't like we lost Fabio Castro (which is what happened last year).
