Pearl Harbor Day

Featured Replies

Today is the 65th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. I just wanted to take a moment to remember those who have served our country, and thank them all, again

Next time someone begins to criticize how we ended the war, I hope they at least give a thought to how it started. God bless the greatest generation.

I'm sure most everybody does, even those critical of our ultimate retaliation. And you are right. Hands down, the greatest generation. :usa

Why do I think that if there was a draft and nearly every 18 year old boy was sent to war now-a-days, we wouldn't be successful. This includes my generation as well. Those guys really were heroes.

And this day was portrayed ever so accuratley in the epic film, "Pearl Harbor".

My grandpa served in WWII. :usa

That has a lot more to do with the wars we're choosing to fight than the draft itself.

Otherwise known as my mother's bday.
