Bears Parking

Featured Replies

I'm driving to the game tomorrow night and don't want to park in the 'official' parking lots, or whatever they are, just off of Lake Shore. I usually only go to one or two games a year, but when I do drive, I'm normally able to find a spots on 18th street (I believe that's where it is) just west of the stadium. The thing is, though, I'm always worried about getting a ticket or getting towed because the parking lots I park in seem rather 'shady'. Any advice? Any parking garages within ten-fifteen blocks of the stadium that one could recommend?

I wouldn't park on 18th tonight. Cops are going to be all over the place. There's going to be 300k+ people down there aside from us at the game. We're parking over off Harrison by our friends condo which is a bit of a walk, but it will get us out of the city after the fireworks faster. There are public lots all over the place, but with all the folks staying downtown I would guess the closer to the field the harder it will be to find them. Leave early and take the first thing you see rather than searching for something better. You might end up driving around for a while.

Downtown is gonna be a f***in' madhouse tonight.

I am staying firmly planted in the house, thank goodness.

New Year's Eve = meaningless annual ripoff.

Trains or shuttle buses are the only way to go to a Bears game.

Not only is the traffic bad tonight, but I wouldnt feel safe being on the same road as some of those morons who think drunk driving is the way to get places.
