Well, mission #1 accomplished. Now with Colon on deck, it's up to Miguel to get him home.

first run of the game 1-0 Sox

LOL, who would win a foot race? BC or PK? The over/under on the 40 yard dash would be 15 seconds.

Actually it wasn't a bunt ... Crede just reached out and slapped the ball to the right side. Our veterans should take notice of how it's done.

correction noticed - I saw the play out of the corner of my eye

Agreed...and Olivo missed a double himself by about 5 feet, Alou barely got it.

My question is this: why isn't Jimenez chastized for not moving Willi Harris over on a 2-1 count with game on the line? I have a feeling that play will kill us today...Speaking of which, Colon walks f***ing SS...idiot.

Really, I just wanted to make the point regarding our veterans :)

Jose turns a tough DP....but then again everyone can do it....DP's are overrated, too

great play by Jose to start a double play

2 out

bottom of 6th

1-0

Nice stretch by Frank on that DP ...

great play by Jose to start a double play

Jimenez started it...but I am happy either way. Considering how blazing fast Petterson is and a very hard slide by Cubbie SS at 2nd...we're lucky to turn two.

Jose made two other tough playes today that went unnoticed however.

OK ... we scored one and then held them through the meat of their lineup. Good inning.

Newsflash! ... According to Steve Stone, Colon is a "red hot" pitcher.

Zambrano is now at 105 pitches after the lead off infield hit by Harris.

Yes! ... harris beat one out for an infield single.

Anyone have any idea of Colon's pitch count?

Can Jimeneze move the runner over on his second chance?
