Just starting with it today. Seems like a cool idea, if only people would play along. I entered 5 bills today, and none of them were hits, not even the one with the dang stamp on it.

I actually got one once. I remember it having a pretty good history on there too.

i have used wheresgeorge.com

 

pretty neat but gave up after a few months. just didnt find that many hits. the few i did get were pretty neat though.

 

(i do however think that the banks and federal govt have made a point to take these bills out of circulation and squash the program)

The lifespan of a an average dollar bill is about 18 months, so they aren't going to be around very long anyway.

I markedup about twenty bills a couple years ago and after months without a hit, I stopped looking. I have used bookcrossing.
