March 5, 200719 yr Go Marquette! Hopefully Jerel McNeal is back in time for the Saint John's game, but I wouldn't push it. Gotta take care of business in round on and beat Saint Johns. If you lose to Pitt on a neutral site to Pitt, that's one thing, but ya can't bow out in round one.
March 5, 200719 yr QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Mar 4, 2007 -> 11:56 PM) It would be great if Depaul could make it to the semis and possibly get a bid. I was hoping for them to make somewhat of a good run in this tourney too, but that draw sucks for them. If they can claw for a win against 'Nova which will be tough enough, Georgetown would give them all sorts of problems in the Quarters. I was really hoping for them to get a 2nd round matchup with Pitt, Louisville or Norte Dame
March 7, 200719 yr Author I'm pumped to wake up early to watch CBB tomorrow, gotta love all day games. Anywho, I'm hoping Depaul can make a run here, if they can get by Nova I got a feeling they'll take down GTown.
March 7, 200719 yr QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 7, 2007 -> 06:05 AM) Go Nova, Uconn, Providence, but above all, Marquette!
March 7, 200719 yr depaul-nova game has been really good. Depaul has hung around the entire time, but it's not looking good right now. 67-61 nova with a minute left.
March 7, 200719 yr Author QUOTE(SnB @ Mar 7, 2007 -> 01:08 PM) depaul-nova game has been really good. Depaul has hung around the entire time, but it's not looking good right now. 67-61 nova with a minute left. They're done unfortunately. I was really hoping they'd make a run in this tourny and if they got by this game I thought they had a shot.
March 7, 200719 yr Author QUOTE(whitesoxfan99 @ Mar 7, 2007 -> 01:48 PM) Syracuse new unis are unbelievably terrible. Yes they are.
March 7, 200719 yr anybody try and use espn 360 to watch any of these games??? Piece of crap. We can fight sports video deficiancy my ass!!! I'd love for espn to hype something up for once, and actually come through with expectations. Always trying to add more, when they cant handle what they had previously. Love ESPN. March 8, 200719 yr Wooh! Nice road win to add to the final tournament resume. This should ensure a #6 seed, and a win tomorrow could potentially push us to a five or a four. Nice win. Hopefully Dominic's shot will show up tomorrow. I'm doubting that McNeal will play. Gonna be a tough game, trying to beat Pitt for hte third time this year.
March 8, 200719 yr QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 8, 2007 -> 05:21 PM) Nova is having issues. The guys at ESPN seem to be drooling over them. I was never that impressed, although I do love Curtis Sumpter. Reynolds is a talented ballplayer, and Nardi is solid, but I don't think they're particularly strong defensively (maybe the stats don't show this?). I can't see them making it past the first weekend in the tourney. Georgetown, OTOH... If a Big East team makes it to the Final Four, it'll be the Hoyas. Tough to find a better two-some in the country than Jeff Green and Roy Hibbert.
March 8, 200719 yr Damn Nova had to come all the way back like that and still not cover by 1/2 point. Looking forward to Marquette/Pittsburgh re-match tonight, I think the Eagles could take them twice in less than a week. Louisville/WVirginia shoudl be a good game too, though I cant see the Mountaineers shooting like last night again.
March 9, 200719 yr How was that not a travel? Lol. He picked up the ball at the free throw line. Also the Louisville player dribbled the ball before inbounding the ball, also an illegal play, but never called.
