March 30, 200719 yr There's been plenty of rumors surrounding this move, but got a call from my friend from Louisville yesterday.... one of her best friends work with one of the top real estate agencies out of Lexington, and was showing houses to Mrs. Donovan all day yesterday. It may not be as clear cut for the casual fan to see, but this move makes a lot of sense for Billy and timing.
March 30, 200719 yr I can't imagine Donovan being dumb enough to have his wife off looking for houses during their final four run. But I guess dumber(stranger) things have happened. I think it will be a big fight between UK and UF for his services this offseason. Couldn't really blame him for either job destination he chooses.

I think this situation more hinges on Florida not showing Donovan loyalty. Theyve always been a basketball school second, not that they have any clue as to how to handle this potential shakeup.
March 31, 200719 yr Doesnt he have another top recruiting class coming in? If i'm Florida i'm paying him as much as it takes to keep him. With the coaches they have in basketball/football they can be a powerhouse in both sports for a long time to come.

April 5, 200719 yr Donovan has been offered 5 million from the Grizzlies and 4 million from Kentucky. That is insane! Even high then I originally projected.
