Opening Day: White Sox vs. Indians, 4/2/07 (L)

I'm amazed on how far that Thome fly went, it looked liked it was going to be a mid outfield catch, but drifted all the way back near the warning track.

where all the Erstad haters now.

welcome to us cell erstad, mediocre players get tons of more homers.

Lefty on lefty too (well, he's prob the most successful against CC on our team), BA might be in trouble

looked like he rolled that bad ankle on the swing

Right here. Actually, though, not a hater, just a disbeliever.

:) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I will only post good thoughts in the game threads this season.

I'm not going to try to analyze every single pitch thrown. It's funny how with the lower expectations I have for this year, the less important I think every play is.

Thus far, 66% of Indians batters got hits, while 75% of White sox batters have gotten hits.

I like our odds!

Seriously though, if Erstad wants to produce this season. I will be more than willing to embrace his pasty white albino self.

That marks the official end of Brian Anderson, sadly.

If Erstad plays well, then who cares?

My thoughts exactly.

Here's another one.

And just because I don't think Erstad is the best CF option in the history of baseball doesn't mean I can't cheer for him to do well.

Oh yeah....he's more much on my good list than Pods is.

If you're going to go to a baseball game, you should really learn to judge fly balls.

LOL our fans have some Hawk 'stretch' syndrome, chill out people, that wasn't that close

i dont remember us putting this many good swings on sabathia in a while

the Chicago mayor sporting the Sox hat.

Me, because I hate going a day without seeing those flowing golden locks :(

Agreed.

Hey, Joe is hitting after Dye instead of AJ. This is a positive development!

Looks, like we didn't stop swinging for the fences

The ball is carrying like crazy today.

You know what, I hate Hawk. I'm through with him.

Stretch!

Ugh.

I forgot how annoying Hawk is on long fly balls. That's 1 premature stretch on the season.

Almost. Important to get back in it though.
