MacDougal and Aardsma should both be sent down. If nothing else, the postgame show on Comcast renews my faith that 3/4 of Sox fans aren't stupid.

DL MacDougal for whatever that mystery injury he has is. Send Aardsma down. Call up Prinz and Vazquez...

Perhaps less are stupid if McDougal and Aaardsma's families were voting repeatedly American Idol style.

why would we send MacDougal down? You can argue that we should DL him but to send him to AAA is just stupid :chair

Sox fans are not Kenny Williams sure as hell is!

Send down Aardsma for Floyd. DL or send down MacDougal and replace him with Bucvich.

Send down Andy Gonzalez and bring up Fields and start him at 3B tomorrow. Alternate starting Crede and Fields, and if Fields shows he's ready, Crede can be traded.

heard our bullpen ERA over the last 18 games is nearly 10.

we failed to score more than 3 in any game in Toronto.

that's what I call a total team effort.

can someone find me MLB BULLPEN stats for this season? or at least point me in the right direction?

Yeah, because Floyd has proven he can get AAA hitters out right? No, at this point he'd probably be the worst pitcher on the big league team based on his 2007 numbers, he's been absolutely horrid.

Platooning Crede and Fields is not going to help anyone, you don't promote a prospect like Fields just to platoon him with another righty, if he's going to be on the big club then he needs to be playing every day.

How about release or trade Aardsma just get him off the roster. Hes Neal Cotts with a few extra MPH. Hes not even a flame thrower. None of these guys are. I see Aardsma throwing 92-94, same with MacDougal and Thornton. AArdsma only has 1 pitch which he struggles to control and a bad breaking ball thats always int he dirt, cough Neal Cotts, cough. The cubs knew this as did all their fans too bad we had to find out for ourselves, although they had the same thing with Cotts. When we talk about a bullpen that keeps the ball from being put in play you model after the Rodney's and Zumaya's. Problem is they actually light up the gun at 97-100 and actually blow people away. Our guys cant locate at 92 mph and walk everyone and fall behind. At this point just get some guys who can throw strikes or get real guys who throw 98+ every fastball.
