Another decent showing by Danks at the plate to see 6 pitches this time. Keep making the kid work.

I saw that... just the one play it looked like Cintron was diving from short.. I must be seeing things.

If they play a big shift on Howard they may switch position and have Uribe cover more ground as the 2B. I always wondered why teams did not do this more when the overswitch type thing was in play. You probably were just watching the game via a reflection in a window or mirror. :D

Danks has seen more pitches today than AJ has for the last two weeks combined.

Hehe that probally explains it.

Cintron with a double, now 3-3 and an intentional pass to big Jim. Time to be a hero JD.

Owens really does not need to leadoff anymore.

cintron 3-3 with 2 two baggers, holy cow

f*** u jayson werth

Owens really does not need to be in the major leagues

Dye flies out to end the top of the 5th, Sox still lead 3-2.

Nice play by Werth?

Nice play by Werth?

yea pretty nice. it would of been a long single or a double for JD, and it would of brought in 2 runs

AJ now 3 for 30 with runners stealing against him, soon to be 3 for 31 with Victorino at 1B...

Less than 10%, not so good. You can't blame it all on Contreras.

Utley with a two out walk, now Danks is almost at 100 pitches with runners on facing Ryan Howard. Yikes.

This inning is getting ugly really fast. Danks not looking good at all. 100 pitches in 4.1 innings. This should be his last batter. 15 pitches to Utley and Victorino.

please dont give up a 3 run homer

double play pleaseeeeee

Not shaping up to be a good inning.

I cant watch this

Phew

Danks Ks Howard, now he needs to get Burrell to get out of it.

Bukvich now in the game, Danks departs at about 105 pitches in under 5 innings of work. He had a ton of full counts.

Ryan Puke - a - vick is coming in to pitch..

5 - 3 Phils in about 2 minutes...

Danks was already at 103 pitches

I can't wait to hear all the Ozzie second-guessing...

for taking Danks out of the game one batter away from being in position for a "sure" win, lol...although, if Bukvich gives up a homer or double, I think that will be the end of Ryan in a Sox uniform.

Nice K on Howard.

Bullpen time, this inning just keeps getting uglier.

At this point in the season, he should have left him in just to try and get the win. If the Sox were a game out and playing the Indians on the last day of the season he would've stayed with him. Why the hell not.

Farmer just said he pitched a pretty good game. WHIP of almost 2 and possibly 4 runs in 4.2 innings....

lol yea, thats who I wouldve brought in

God bless you Josh.

pretty great, fields
