However, how stupid is Bradley? The home plate umpire talked to him about throwing his bat and Bradley said that it wasn't true. How difficult is it to just leave it at that? He took his base and decides to start interrogating the first base ump to find out who is starting rumors. When the ump starts acting like a jerk, instead of ignoring him, he gets into it with him. His team is fighting for a playoff spot and is already down one starting outfielder (I believe they also were losing the game). His total loss of self control to the point of physically going after an umpire cost has cost him an entire season and very well could result in his team missing the playoffs. To me, that is the far bigger problem here rather than who started what argument.

September 26, 200718 yr Winters suspended for rest of season. If he truly said what Bradley, Meacham and Helton all have claimed he said to touch things off, he should be fired. Period.
